Agency: Life Story | End Client: Origin | Role: Pattern Design / Branding

Working with the creative agency Life Story, Origin transitioned its identity from purely charity based to a fashion label that focused itself on people and creativity, but with an ethical conscience and purpose.

Working with Life Story, I designed a pattern to work along-side their logo. They wanted something that brought a human element to the brand with a quirky feel to it. Working with the idea of using facial features I drew up a pattern with charcoal and paints. The pattern uses geometric shapes as a base for the features with free hand charcoal drawings on top. The geometric base helps to add colour but also add a rhythm to the pattern.

After the pattern was edited it became a part of Origin’s primary branding.
